I do hope that wasn’t Orkney home brew Lothar is sampling, I learned just how potent it was many years ago.
One old wifie we visited insisted you had a glass with supper I discovered the only safe way to drink it was with a pile of her oatcakes and farm cheese while sitting on the floor. She would never let me put a hydrometer near it.
Some of the stuff he sampled was ‘rocket fuel’. Other bits were ‘damn fine!’.
